Terms of Service

Effective date: 19 September 2026
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Easeare (“Easeare”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of Easeare websites, software, and related services.
Primary website: https://easeare.com/
Related properties: Easeare product sites under *.easeare.com, the shared API at https://api.easeare.com/, and Easeare software distributed through WordPress.org, our websites, or authorized partners.
By visiting our websites, purchasing or activating a license, downloading or installing our software, enabling optional API features inside a plugin, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
1. Who these Terms cover
These Terms are company-wide. They apply to Easeare and to all current and future Easeare WordPress products that use the same inbound and outbound service patterns described here—including free plugins on WordPress.org, optional commercial add-ons, documentation sites, and the shared API—not only a single named plugin.
Product-specific documentation may add usage notes. Where a product page conflicts with these Terms on a legal point, these Terms control unless we publish a written amendment that expressly says otherwise.
2. The Services
In these Terms, “Services” means:
- easeare.com and any Easeare marketing, documentation, account, billing, download, or support pages;
- product microsites operated by Easeare (including documentation and support hubs under
*.easeare.com); - the Easeare API hosted at
api.easeare.com(the “API”); - Easeare WordPress plugins and related packages, whether distributed for free on WordPress.org, as optional commercial add-ons, or as downloads from Easeare (together, the “Software”); and
- any related communications, licenses, catalogs, updates, or services we provide in connection with the above.
Easeare sells pre-built software and licenses. These Terms do not cover custom development, consulting, or other client services, and easeare.com does not offer those services.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. You may not use the Services if you are prohibited from receiving them under applicable law.
Some features (purchases, license keys, support tickets, or customer portals) may require an account or accurate contact details. You must provide true information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of unauthorized account use. You are responsible for activity under your account or license keys issued to you.
4. Description of the Services
4.1 Websites and documentation
easeare.com and related Easeare sites may provide product information, documentation, blogs, marketing materials, support resources, download links, and links to WordPress.org or third-party stores.
4.2 Free WordPress.org plugins
Easeare may publish free plugins on WordPress.org. Those plugins are intended to provide useful functionality on your WordPress site without requiring a connection to Easeare for their core free features, unless a specific optional feature you enable needs the API.
WordPress.org plugins remain subject to WordPress.org guidelines, the plugin’s GPL license, and these Terms where they apply to our websites, API, commercial add-ons, and optional remote services.
4.3 Commercial add-ons and licenses
Easeare may offer optional paid packages (“add-ons”, “extensions”, “Pro packages”, or similar) that unlock additional features. Add-ons may be installed as separate WordPress plugins (for example via Plugins → Upload) and may require a valid license key activated against the Easeare API.
A license grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed add-on on the number of sites and under the plan limits described at purchase or in your license record, subject to these Terms and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout.
4.4 Shared Easeare API (api.easeare.com)
Easeare operates a shared HTTPS API used across Easeare WordPress products. Typical optional uses include:
- License activation, deactivation, and validation — to confirm that a key is entitled to a product or package on a given site;
- Official catalog metadata — to provide up-to-date package names, descriptions, availability, preview image URLs, and product links for Add-ons / opportunities screens, without shipping those remote assets inside WordPress.org plugin zips.
The API is designed so that visitor personal data collected by your WordPress site (for example form leads, quote contents, or customer messages stored in your database) is not required for these calls and is not sent by our official plugins for license or catalog operations.
4.5 Updates and changes
We may improve, replace, or discontinue parts of the Services. We may update Software, API endpoints, catalog contents, documentation, and pricing for future purchases. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page and, where appropriate, additional notice on easeare.com.
5. Inbound and outbound data flows (summary)
This section explains, in plain language, how information typically moves between your WordPress site, Easeare, and our websites. Details on personal data are in the Privacy Policy.
5.1 What usually stays on your WordPress site
When visitors use calculators, forms, bookings, or other features provided by Easeare Software on your site, submissions and records (names, emails, phone numbers, messages, answers, estimates, quotes, and similar) are generally stored in your WordPress database and processed under your privacy notices to your visitors. Easeare is not the operator of your website and is not responsible for how you collect or use visitor data on your site.
5.2 Optional outbound requests from your WordPress site to Easeare
Official Easeare plugins may make optional HTTPS requests to api.easeare.com when you choose to use commercial or catalog features, for example:
| Optional feature | Typical direction | Typical purpose | Typical data involved |
|---|---|---|---|
| License activate / deactivate / validate | Your site → API | Confirm entitlements | License key, site home URL, product identifier |
| Catalog refresh (manual or daily cron if enabled) | Your site → API | Update official package metadata | Product identifier; User-Agent may include plugin version and site home URL |
| Catalog / preview assets | API → Your site (metadata; browsers may later load public image URLs) | Display names, links, previews | Public package metadata and HTTPS image URLs |
These connections are not required for core free features that are designed to work offline. If you never enter a license key and never enable catalog refresh or daily catalog updates, official plugins should not schedule those API calls.
5.3 Inbound to Easeare from websites and commerce
When you browse easeare.com, submit a contact or support form, create an account, or purchase a product, you may send us contact details, order information, and technical logs as described in the Privacy Policy.
5.4 What we do not want for license and catalog API calls
Official Easeare plugins are not intended to transmit your visitors’ lead or quote personal data to Easeare solely for license validation or catalog updates. If a future product introduces a different optional cloud feature that does send additional data, we will disclose it in that product’s WordPress.org “External services” section and update this page and the Privacy Policy.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- keep WordPress, PHP, and Easeare Software reasonably up to date;
- safeguard license keys and not share, resell, publish, or circumvent licensing, signature, or entitlement controls;
- not reverse engineer, tamper with, or redistribute commercial add-ons except as allowed by applicable open-source licenses and your purchase terms;
- not overload, probe, or abuse the API (including automated scraping beyond normal plugin behavior);
- not use the Services to distribute malware, spam, or infringing content;
- provide your own privacy policy and legal basis for any personal data you collect from visitors on sites where you install Easeare Software;
- ensure you have rights to any content you upload to Easeare websites or support channels; and
- comply with WordPress.org guidelines when using or redistributing WordPress.org-hosted plugins.
You are solely responsible for your WordPress site, hosting, backups, security, and compliance with laws that apply to your business and your visitors (including privacy, consumer, and marketing laws).
7. Licenses to Software
7.1 Free plugins (GPL)
WordPress.org-hosted Easeare plugins are typically licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later (or as stated in the plugin header). Your rights under the GPL are not limited by these Terms, except that our trademarks, websites, API access, and commercial add-ons remain subject to these Terms and separate licenses.
7.2 Commercial add-ons
Unless otherwise stated, commercial add-ons are licensed for use with a valid Easeare license on authorized sites. We may use cryptographic package signatures, license checks, and entitlement lists to reduce piracy and tampering. Bypassing those controls is prohibited.
Refunds for paid products and add-ons are described in our Refund Policy. Renewals, seat limits, and support windows are as stated at checkout or in your customer area, subject to applicable consumer law.
7.3 Our intellectual property
Easeare retains all rights in our brands, logos, websites, documentation (except where marked otherwise), API, non-GPL materials, and the selection and arrangement of catalog content. You may not use Easeare trademarks in a way that implies endorsement without permission.
8. API fair use and availability
We strive for reasonable API availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may rate-limit, suspend, or refuse API requests that appear abusive, fraudulent, or insecure.
You may not:
- use the API except through official Easeare Software or documented integrations we authorize;
- impersonate another product or site;
- attempt to obtain another customer’s license entitlements; or
- rely on the API as a sole backup for critical business operations without your own fallbacks (free features should remain usable offline where designed to do so).
9. Purchases, taxes, and billing
Prices, currencies, and taxes are shown at checkout or on invoices. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your payment method for purchases and renewals you request. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we state that tax is included.
If a payment fails or a chargeback occurs, we may suspend license entitlements until resolved.
10. Support
Support channels (email, tickets, documentation, or community links) may vary by product and plan. Free WordPress.org plugins may rely primarily on documentation and public support forums. Paid plans may include additional support as described at purchase.
We do not guarantee that every issue can be resolved, especially issues caused by third-party themes, custom code, hosting limits, or outdated software.
Support contact: support@easeare.com.
11. Third-party services
The Services may link to or interoperate with third parties, including:
- WordPress.org and the WordPress software;
- hosting providers you choose;
- payment processors;
- email delivery providers;
- analytics or security tools on our websites (if enabled); and
- fonts or CDN providers used to deliver website assets.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Easeare is not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
12. Beta, previews, and “coming soon” items
Catalog entries marked coming soon, beta features, or preview documentation may change or never ship. They are provided for information only and create no obligation for Easeare to deliver a feature on a particular date.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. EASEARE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that catalog, license, or documentation information will always be complete or current.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those cases, disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASEARE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASEARE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO EASEARE FOR THE SPECIFIC PAID SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID EASEARE.
These limits do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example certain consumer rights or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is forbidden).
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Easeare against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your websites and visitor data; (b) your misuse of the Services; (c) your violation of these Terms or law; or (d) content you submit to us.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate API access, licenses, accounts, or website access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services at any time and may deactivate licenses or uninstall Software.
Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
17. Export and sanctions compliance
You may not use or export the Services in violation of export control or sanctions laws. You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving the Services under such laws.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Easeare’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts with jurisdiction over Easeare’s principal place of business, and you consent to that venue. Easeare may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any venue to protect intellectual property or to stop abuse of the API.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at https://easeare.com/terms with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.

21. Entire agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any plan-specific terms presented at purchase form the entire agreement regarding the Services and supersede prior conflicting understandings on the same subject, except for open-source licenses that separately govern GPL-licensed code.
